"This family-owned restaurant opened its doors in 2009, born out of a passion for expressing the Mediterranean way of life in a fresh and modern context. Over the last 13 years, the establishment has become well-loved for its consistently outstanding food quality, relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere and exceptional service.

The restaurant’s elevated contemporary yet uncomplicated take on Greek meze and other sharing-style dishes from the Mediterranean and Middle East caters to the sophisticated, adventurous palate. Mezepoli offers a tranquil, urban dining experience with elegant simplicity and timeless, fresh white spaces with splashes of Mediterranean blue creating a truly Greek experience. The beautifully designed space, much-loved Greek cuisine, and central location at Melrose Arch, one of the city’s most prestigious shopping and leisure centres, makes the restaurant a favourite for all occasions, from business lunches to celebratory dinners.

What do you believe is the key to building a sustainable and resilient business?

“The restaurant industry is challenging at the best of times. When the economic environment is bad it is even more difficult. Understanding how to manage daily business operations is an essential part of it, but it also comes down to the faith your customers have in your brand. It can take years to build a strong reputation, and this has to be founded on real experiences. That means consistently good food and service. It means acknowledging mistakes when they happen and addressing them quickly. Finally, it means staying true to what you do best and not becoming caught up in fads that come and go.” - Margarita Tsangaris-Scherf: Owner
